What size skip do I need?
When choosing the size of your skip there are a number of important factors to consider. How much waste you need to dispose of? How much space you can provide on your property or on the road outside? What is your budget?

You can hire a skip from Countrywideskips.com for up to 7 days at no extra cost!* However, any extension to this initial hire period (including the provision of another local authority permit, if the skip is to be kept on the public highway) may incur further charges!

You don’t even need to be on the premises – which means no frustrating delays waiting for our skip lorry to arrive and no need to waste annual leave from your workplace.

What can I put in my skip?
Countrywideskips.com are for general and inert waste ONLY. We do not accept: food waste, computer monitors, televisions, fridges or freezers, full paint cans, aerosols, solvents, liquids, oil, batteries, tyres, gas canisters, plasterboard (max 10% per load), clinical/medical waste or hazardous/toxic materials (including asbestos) in any form. NOTE: Surcharges will apply where any of these materials are deposited in a skip without our permission.

Can I put a skip on the road?
It is illegal to place a skip on the public highway (including grass verges and pedestrian walkways) without an appropriate permit from the local authority, hazard warning lights and signage. If, for whatever reason, you are unable to place a skip on your own private property, simply inform countrywideskips.com via our customer hotline on 08451 30 35 30 or on our secure online ordering system. In most circumstances, we will be able to make all the necessary arrangements on your behalf.

How quickly can you deliver?
